Black Opal Deluxe Finishing Powder [Review]

Black Opal's Deluxe Finishing Powder has been my GO TO setting powder over ALL the foundations I have ever tried. Trust me, Ive tried ALOT.

It gives additional coverage to the face and blends out evenly. Its best applied with a fluffy brush such as the Real Techniques Powder Brush. This combo is AMAZING.

The MEDIUM shade can be used to set your under eye highlight (for people with my skin tone - I am Dark 3 in Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse and C8 in Loreal Superblendable)

The DARK is the shade I use to set my foundation daily. The DEEP shade can be used to contour.

The undertone of the powders vary. The DARK is rather yellow-orange based and the DEEP is orange to red based.

  1. I am an MAC NW43/NC45 crossover (sometimes mix, wear either alone depending on time of year/formula(s) used/powders used) and C7 in L'Oreal and Caramel/Caramel Dark 2 in Maybelline. Just getting wind of these powders and I might be able to use Medium for all over face but i'll pick up the next shade which is Dark for good measure too (couldn't use Deep unless I wanted to contour but that's not my thing).

    1. Hi, the medium would be the best shade for you based on the shades in MAC, L'Oreal and Maybelline you mentioned. You are on the right track ;-)
